    Outlook: Salmon have started to spawn and trout are looking for salmon eggs in the morning and evening. The egg bite slows midday, but a stone with a beadhead caddis or PT dropper is working well. Caddis and PMD's are out late afternoon and evening, with dry fly fishing pretty decent.

    Outlook: Shad are below Daguerre dam. Good reports of few anglers and good numbers of males and females. Trout is fair on dries including caddis and hopper patterns. Be ready to match a hatch and be observent.

    Outlook: Visibility has improved and fish are rising to hatches of PMD’s, caddis, march browns and a few skwalas. Best fishing is from 10am to 3pm on sunny days with most of the top water action happening in the afternoon. Start the morning indicator nymphing with a beadhead nymph and a midge dropper. As bug activity increases, switch to a PMD dry with a midge dropper.

    Outlook: Very windy weather made it difficult to fish. Still getting a good nymph drift produced 6 fish inabout 4 hours. Wind gusts to 50MPH.

    Outlook: March browns, caddis, smaller stones, PMD’s and a few skwalas. Hatches start around 11am and continue until dusk with warmer temperatures. Cover water to find best bug activity and rising fish. Add a nymph dropper to improve your chances. Expect crowds in popular spots above Hwy 20 bridge and around Sycamore Ranch. Reports of anglers catching large trout but not in great numbers.
